About the treatment

Microdermabrasion is a very effective and virtually painless procedure, which allows for the treatment of a wide variety of skin conditions.

How is it done?

Microdermabrasion utilizes inert microcrystals, which are propelled at high speeds across the skin’s surface to abrade the skin tissue. The resulting dead cells and debris are vacuumed from the skin’s surface; leaving you with soft, smooth healthier and more youthful looking skin.

What to expect after various treatment levels

Your skin may feel tight as if exposed to the sun or wind. Keeping the skin well moisturized will help minimize these effects.

Deeper treatment level for more blemished or thicker skin

Your skin will appear slightly red and swollen for a few hours to a few days after treatment.

Deep treatment for scar tissue and stretch marks (striae)

The skin will appear red and swollen, slight blood spotting may occur immediately after treatment. Healing time may take 3-4 days.
